Inevitable Atrocity

I see a spaceship, soaring through the air,
Today, I am not the only one who cares,
because this time they are bringing candy and ?airs,
and everyone will rush to buy some, forgetting their affairs.

I see a UFO, landing on my lawn,
my mom will freak when she sees the aliens' spawn,
it is stuff like this that makes me yawn,
'cause I know my pals will be gone by dawn.

I see a mutated life form, walking around,
When it gets irritated, it appears to turn brown,
It never did seem to be making a sound,
and the other day I saw it burrowing into the ground.

I see a movie, slowly becoming reality,
scientists come closer to finding immortality,
and find ways to increase people's mentality,
as some search for ways to better their visual modality,
and the brainies look deeper into dimensionality.

But in the end, it all comes down to our humanity,
and our tendency to find our way to insanity,
as our thirst for knowledge and our curiosity
brings us to create a deadly monstrosity.

An inevitable atrocity.
