I am on a quest for magic
in a party of three.
I must find the source of magic
and learn why this is happening to me.
I have magician-class magic
and I don't know what it is.
So I'm gonna ask Humfrey a Question about my magic.
And pay a year's service for this.
I don't want to be exiled from the land of magic,
so I must prove to them that I have a talent.
Humfrey should be able to help me.
He has immense power.
But it turns out that he can't, and I don't have to pay the fee.
Because apparently my magic is protecting me
from itself.
Now I am banned from Xanth.
I must walk through the Shield.
I can't stop thinking about what will happen to me
in the land of the mundane.
I break into a run and pass through the Shield.
